PG Steakhouse in Huntington

The porter house for two is amazing ! Their steak is aged to perfection. It’s so tender and flavorful. I had this amazing lobster appetizer from their daily specials. Their sides are family style. The garlic mashed and creamed spinach were so good. ❗️Must try the Apple Strudel dessert! It’s made in house and it’s so decadent. When we first sat down the service was not great but they were a little busy and towards the end of our meal we were the last ones in the restaurant so it got a little better but you’d expect more for a pricey place.

This spot is worth visiting. They serve large portions for affordable rates. Always well kept and with great character. Will come visit again.

Such an amazing experience. Steaks are FABULOUS. Delicious sides. Service is superb. All this in a casual warm friendly atmosphere . Picture represents the slab of bacon. Steak is 3 × times as thick... yummy

Tiny place with wonderful traditional NY steakhouse aged steaks.

In my opinion, better than Lugers.

A pleasant surprise in an unusual location. We came here for a family dinner on a Thursday night and the service was great. Our waiter Andrew was very attentive and knowledgeable of the specials for the evening. The food did not disappoint either. From beginning to end, our experience here was great and well worth the price.

Steak was good and the salads.. I think they can do a better job on the salads.

Peter Lugar "East" The BEST

I have driven by this place for years and finally stopped in. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful dinner broiled veal chop was amazing. Service was very attentive it was a nice quiet evening, very romantic sat by the fireplace( fake fireplace but it was still nice).

It was everything I had heard about from friends. The steak was superb, the home fries to die for and the staff couldn't have been more attentive without being cloying. I highly recommend this attractive we'll run restaurant. I wish there were more like them on the island.

Always a fine meal with great service. The thick-cut bacon is fantastic. Steaks are done just how one asks. Sides can be hit or miss, but one doesn't visit a steak house for the sides.

Friendly service, but very slow. I think there was only one server. Food was good, not awesome. Had a nice time, didn't feel rushed.

Worst steak in a long time.and the tomatoes and onions were tasteless. I dont my paying top dollar but hot for mishaps like this.

Best poterhouse around

One of the best steak for two that I have ever had. That with the friendly service makes it one of my favorite places to go.

Great food and service!

Easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Dix Hills and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking. Small Restroom with a family style feel. Great Steaks. Locals mostly. Clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Nice staff. We will most likely be going back.

The best steak house on the island

Dinner reservations were for 8:30 (party of 5) We finally sat down after 9:00P. Asked for dinner rolls several times and finally they arrived (only 3) then waited another 15 min for more rolls to arrive (they were hard as a rock). Then came dinner -oh boy- I asked for my steak to be slightly pink in the middle. Lets just say the steak knives and my dental work got a good workout. The steak was well well well done. I sent it back only to receive another steak that was raw in the middle and burnt on the outside.Dont eat here its not worth it. Go to Tellers in Islip instead. What a difference

Not lie it used to be great, went for many years and retuned in January was really disappointed

Great Food

This is a very quiet place. if you aren't from the area you most likely will not even notice it. There is not an abundance of people. This steak is very good as far as the appetizers they're not as put together as they should be.

Old fashioned steak house. Limited menu, but if you love porterhouse this is a great place.

Outstanding

Food is awesome. But that’s about it. Service is horrible fir a small place. The prices are way to high. I could have gone to Blackstones and gotten A ++++ service for what dinner cost here. Def would not go back.
